Global Entrepreneurship Week Penn State celebrates the Community of Entrepreneurship. Penn State and the communities surrounding the campuses that are emerging as a vibrant collective of independent thinkers who work together to get important things done. This is the vision of community enabling a better world through collective effort.

At University Park each day has a theme: Go Freelance!, Social Entrepreneurship, Intrapreneurship Innovation, Entrepreneurial Women, Start-Up Shake-Up.  Keynotes are from noon-1:00 (except Wednesday) and master classes follow the keynotes. Perspective Panels, 3-5 experienced entrepreneurs talk about their successes and failures, are held from 3:00-4:00. From 4:30 to 6:30 every day you will find workshops.  New Leaf Initiative  sponsors networking opportunities every day from 6:30-8:00 followed by Flavor Flights, sponsored by the CBICC, every evening from 8:00-9:30.

Jayme Anne Goldberg is CEO and co-founder of SilverLine Athletics – a leading digital media platform for endurance sports events in the U.S and UK.  With video publishing and monetization at the core, SilverLine provides digital media technology and media sponsorship for running, triathlon, cycling and obstacle events. Since its founding in 2012, SilverLine has grown to become the largest media platform for endurance sports events across 13,000 events with social media reach of 100+ million athletes and fans.

 

An expert at identifying and capitalizing on opportunities within fragmented, niche industries and an accomplished triathlete, Jayme identified the business case for endurance events, advertisers and sponsors to more effectively leverage and profit from digital media.   Combining her corporate strategy and finance background with her passion for endurance sports, Jayme co-founded SilverLine where she currently leads strategic planning, partnerships, and business development initiatives.   Prior to SilverLine, Jayme was Chief Strategy Officer and Director of Operations at Center Square, a Bank of New York Mellon real estate investment management firm.  In her role, she was responsible for strategic planning, and design of organizational systems and processes to optimize and scale operations.  Prior to CenterSquare, Jayme was an Investment Analyst at General Motors Asset Management and assisted with analysis and negotiations on their $10 Billion real estate portfolio.

 

An industry visionary, Jayme speaks regularly on topics such as digital sponsorship, activation and entrepreneurship.  She serves on the External Advisory Board of Penn State’s Schreyer Honors College and is former vice-chairperson for the Cadence Cycling Foundation. Jayme holds a B.A. in Real Estate and Honors in Finance from Penn State’s Schreyer Honors College and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
